Way OT-Steppenwolf song

DH wants "Magic carpet ride" by Steppenwolf. I found one Steppenwolf CD on Amazon, but none of the other songs are good. Anyone know of a compilation album like "Best of the 60's" or something that has this song in addition to other good ones?

Offhand, no, but you can download individual songs (legally!) for $1 or less at places like Walmart.com or itunes.com -- would that work?

There is a remix of the song on the soundtrack to the movie "Go." You can go to Amazon, type in "Go soundtrack" and you can check out that and the other songs and see if it is something you want. FWIW, that song is used very effectively in the movie!

I just checked Napster for you, and they have the song. If you're a member, you might download from there. You could burn him an entire CD of his favorite songs. I've done that for dh, and of course for myself too ;) I'm a Napster addict :) They often have free week-long memberships, if you want to try it out.
