Hi

The photographer did an awesome job on Jacob's pictures. She does framing in her studio but it's really expensive, and we already spent way too much than we should have because we *had* to have practically all the shots, lol.

So, where's the place to go for mats and frames?(online or B&M) The prints are odd sizes (10x10 & 8x12).

Thanks!

You can get mats custom cut at Michael's or other craft stores for a fairly reasonable price, if you can find the frame sizes that you need. Unfortunately, once you get into custom framing, it is quite expensive no matter how you do it.

Try www.pictureframes.com. It's Graphik Dimensions Ltd. I haven't tried this place yet, but my neighbor (an artist) says it's very good.

The neat thing is that if you upload a copy of your picture onto their site, you can see what the picture will look like with various frames.

HTH!

ETA: I did a brief search and it looks like 8x12 is one of their ready-made sizes, but 10x10 is not. Oh, one more thing--we've had success getting frames from Target and then either using the matte that comes with the frame or using a solid colored piece of fabric as a backing (rather than a matte).
