Had my 20 week ultrasound today!

The baby was totally healthy and vigorously sucking away at its thumb, LOL! We didn't have any genetic testing prior to this, so I was a little nervous going in. But the baby had no markers for any genetic disorders, so I am much relieved.

And it looks like Sarah is going to have a little sister!!!!!!! The tech was not totally sure since she did not get a really good shot. But the radiologist who came in later got a clear view and he was 100% sure its a girl (much to DH's relief, since he hates uncertainty about these things....).

I guess I am meant to be a mommy to little girls. :)

YAY! Congrats on the healthy baby! You are made for girls as I am made for boys I guess! LOL As my old boss said when I told her we were having another boy... "Oh Good, Now you'll have a matched set!" LOL! She had 2 girls followed by a little boy.... she was actually hoping for another girl when her DS came along cause she said it would have been so easy... nothing to buy except for a new car seat!! At least you have a lot of clothes and toys geared towards a little girl already!

Anyways.... congrats and good luck! I hope the remainder of your pregnancy goes smoothly! Sarah is going to be a GREAT big sister!

Congratulations Beth! I hope that you are able to relax a little bit at this point. What a big milestone to finally be able to celebrate!

BTW I just read a quote by Julia Roberts talking about how easy her pregnancy was and how happy she was the whole time - "a giggle box 24 hours a day" she said and if you saw her on Oprah that was certainly true. When I read that I thought of you and wished that could be true for you too(and for me in any future pregnancies!). Okay maybe not a giggle box 24/7 as that would be annoying, but YKWIM - just plain happy that you are pg and that all seems to be going well. Maybe you are there now - I hope so!

Oh and blob sounds too boyish, how about blobette? LOL
