OT: Best way to fix botched manicure

Botched by me, not the manicurist. FYI, it's not a good idea to go bra shopping after getting a manicure :) I have a couple indentation marks in the polish now.

I went back and bought the same color so I could fix it. I was thinking of putting a little nail polish remover on a q-tip, smoothing it out, then putting a thin coat on top. Then a new top coat. Or is there a better way?

I have DH's Christmas party to go to on Friday... TIA!

As far as I know, that's the way the pros do it. Use a really light hand with the q-tip, though, or you'll have to fill in a big hole.

If the polish still wasn't quite set after bra shopping, you could've run your finger over the nail repeatedly, sometimes that will smooth out a dent.
