if you were NOT exclusively BF? I've had milk supply issues since DS birth, so he has always been supplemented. I'm in no rush for AF, but kind of expected it again by now since I'm not able to exclusively BF.

I don't think it's how much you breastfeed/pump that's as important as *how often.* So, if you breastfeed/pump fairly often (at least every 4 hours), I think that counts as ecological BFing, which is what is usually credited with keeping ovulation at bay. I EBF until 6 months or so and night-weaned at around 8 months or so -- and my period didn't return until 13 months post-partum. So...the simple answer is: it just depends on your body.

When I was exclusively breastfeeding I'd get mine back around 7-9 months after delivery,even when they were eating very little solids and nursing at night. I'm envious when I hear others not get it for over a year.Enjoy not getting it.:-)
