I just made DS's first dentist appointment (he's almost 3). They said something about a Fluoride treatment. From what I remember, you can't eat for a while afterwards, right? Well, his appointment is at 11:30am. How quickly will he be able to eat afterwards? Should I change the appointment so that he can eat lunch?

the standard recommendation following a fluoride treatment is nothing to eat or drink (including water) for at least 30 minutes. HTH. good luck and i hope you and your DC have a positive 1st dental experience!
