Noah had his 15 month check up today

The little guy is nice and healthy. He's 23 lbs. and 31.5 inches. His head is in the 95th percentile, lol! Poor guy had 4 shots but he took them like a champ. At the last minute I changed my mind and decided to go ahead and get him a flu shot too. I hope I don't regret that. I had a pretty nasty cold the last week and I started getting really paranoid. I adore our new ped. Now that I have her I realise that our ped in Seattle was a total fossil. Oh well, no lasting damage.

I'm glad he did so well. Those checkups with multiple shots just suck, but I'll bet you will not regret the flu shot. I got Katherine both shots over the last couple of months.

Katherine just had her 18 month checkup yesterday too. She was 26 lbs, 11 oz (80%) in weight, 33 1/3" tall(90%) tall, and 95% in head size. She only had to have 1 vaccination yesterday, thank goodness.

Beth, my ped told us the next well baby was at 2 years. Should I request an 18 month checkup? Now I'm worried!

It's good to know Katherine is doing so well. I love the hat she's wearing in her avatar.

I've found the different peds. have different "well baby" schedules. Even within the same office. My last ped. did a 9 month & then a 15 month (no one year appts), however, other docts in his practice do 6 months and then 12 months. So it all depends on the doc.

I wouldn't worry at all. She may have had to have it at 18 months only for the last Prevnar vaccination. Your ped may have a slightly different schedule. I'm sure it is just fine.

I am so glad that Noah is doing well! Ellie got the flu shot (two shots total) and I am glad that we did it.
