I never had pics I liked so everything was taken over the weekend. Spent two nights working on this but I was going to have to lie and say that Juliet's design was mine if I didn't do it myself. Thanks Rashmi and Juliet for being available to work with me.

This I'm getting about 30 of these printed 4x6 ($.19/each) for our parents, brothers and my girlfriends who will be amused.

This will be our official card on 5x7 for $.69/each (Costco rocks!)

I dropped off the proto type last night and I'm dying to go pick it up so I can see how the fonts printed, etc...

Thanks for all the inspiration.

I love them! I swear these cards get better & better...but I've loved seeing all of them.

The one with them looking up the chimney is precious - looks like it should be a on a real Hallmark card or something!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME job!! I absolutely love both versions, but the 5x7 one is my absolute fave!

As a new PE addict, I am dying to know a few things (you did these on PE, right?) My skills are rather simple right now and I love how yours looks so much more "advanced". Forgive me if these are dumb questions!

How did you get the snowflake to look so "faded"/light?

How did you get the three pictures to have a sort of "frame" look (I know how to sepearte pics, but yours actually looks lighter around the pics like a frame of sorts)

Costco did CARDS for $.69 ea??? I was just there yesterday and I must have totally missed that!!! I saw prints for a good price, but not the cards - they were much more expensive. Maybe you just did a 5x7 print and used that as a card? It seems you have all the necessary info on the print anyway! IF that's what you did, that's a GREAT idea!!!!!!! Mental note to self for next year! I totally had in my head "folded card folded card folded card" for some reason.

If you don't mind, I am totally saving this image and using it next year as a guide! I love it!!!!!

LOVE that first one, I am sure whoever you send it to will love it. And the fireplace one is just too sweet.

Your pictures are wonderful! I wonder how many of us are saving all of these pictures for ideas for next year ~ I know I am!

Don't you just love Costco for prints? The guys there know us now!!!! They are the best!

Thanks :) I stole the idea off of a card. I'm into scrapping so I figure this will be a shot I'll try to get every year to show their growth.

Thanks, I'll try to help I am using PS but not elements vs 7. I've been playing with it making sigs for chat room for years so the card is just a big sig at a much higher resolution.

Here is the link for instuction on the snowflake. I saw another thread more recently that describes using the wand and doing a reverse to fill, etc. Easy once you do it once.

The lighter color border around the pics is just a rectangle I drew and filled with a ligher color and placed behind the pictures.

Sorry for the bad news but... Costco doesn't do cards. I'm just using a reg. luster finish 5x7 as my card. All info is on the front.

I can't take credit for the design, I'm sure I saw it somewhere before :)

What fabulous cards!

I think the shot of the kids looking up the chimney is priceless.

Thanks, I'm already brain storming for my son's 1st b-day party invite in March.

I ended up doing 3 "proto" types at Costco and they were all making over it. Gotta love that

You wouldn't believe how hard it was to get that shot. My daughter kept saying the spiders were going to get her. Not sure what that was about (never had spiders). So we bribed with candy. I wanted to put out milk/cookies but since that was take 7 or 8 spread out over two nights I gave up on the small details.
