We're trying to teach Sophie to say "Mia" but for now it's "baby!".

Sophie can see into the moses basket, so she likes to come running and look in. She also likes to rock it (it's on a rocking stand). Yesterday she wanted to give Mia a kiss and promptly grabbed the baby's head to pull it closer toward her . Yikes!

She also runs up and pulls off Mia's hat and takes off with it.

This is going to be fun...

And yes, I think Sophie and Amelia definitely bear resemblance, although Mia has blue eyes and kind of blond eyelashes. Sophie had hazel eyes and kind of reddish hair. We will see!

I so love that you took a shot just before going to the hospital. That is absolutely fabulous. I also note that Mia looks wonderful in the little GAP sweatersuit you got a while back. She looks so cuddly and soft! And she is an absolutely gorgeous babe. I can't get over all that hair. I swear she has about as much as Bubs has now-- at 18 mos! :)

Must be some weird-a$$ hormones but I am sitting here crying looking at the pics... just the whole time line is so magical.. there you are standing in front of the mirror with Amelia in your tummy and then there she IS. How miraculous is that, that that beautiful, lovely, perfect new baby came out of you!
And the pics with Soph and Jonathan.. wow... how amazing to see your new sister or daughter for the first time. And to hold her. There is SO much good in this world and it will always win over the bad. I am babbling but I am feeling so emotional looking at the pics.
