If you get pictures taken at Sears or Penney's...

Do you get your pictures the same day like Picture People, or do you have to wait for awhile. If you have to wait, how long? When you're choosing pictures, do they show you actual prints or do they show you pictures on a computer screen?

My Sears takes a few weeks to get the prints, you choose off a computer screen. They have not gone digital yet. Although they told me that some Sears have gone digital, I believe. i do not know about Penney's.

At Sears I've had to wait about 2-3 weeks to get my pictures. And I've viewed the pictures on a computer screen when making my choices. HTH!

JCPenney is the same way. You look at your pictures on a screen and choose them. Then you make an appointment before you leave to pick up your pictures. The appointment is usually about 2 weeks after the session.

My Sears just went digital - if you order a package, you get it back in about 2 days, if its sheets, you get them same day. You look at them on a computer screen.

We got pictures taken on 12/3 and we're picking them up tomorrow at Sears. As mentioned, some of the Sears studios are now digital and offer faster service. Just go to their website www.searsportraits.com and you can see where your closest studios are and if any are digital.
