Arbitron Ratings- Anyone participate?

I just got a call from someone from Arbitron Ratings (as well as a letter with a crisp dollar bill in it a few weeks back). She said we were one of the few chosen households to be picked to participate. Is this just a sales pitch? Everything sounded legit and she didn't ask for any info other than my address (to send me the diary that I'm supposed to fill out). Has anyone done this before? Is it time consuming? Would you do it?

Yep, me and DH participated a few months back. No big deal, took about a minute every day to do the survey for a week and that was it. Mailed it back and we were done.

Having been a DJ for half my life I would tell you to take it seriously...someone's job may depend on it. That's not to scare you, but ratings mean a lot to a radio station so be honest and PLEASE fill it out (and don't forget to return it!) Thanks!
