I bought Laura Mercier when I got married as I was doing my own makeup, and have loved it isnce. It is too $$ though...I do not use foundation everyday, though I should, as I have freckles ;)

I use Chanel Double Perfection. It is a pressed power foundation and I wish I didn't love it so much because it is almost $50. But it is not too heavy, and so easy to apply.

I use Chanel Double Perfection. It is a pressed power foundation and I wish I didn't love it so much because it is almost $50. But it is not too heavy, and so easy to apply.

I agree with PP regarding Bare Escentuals, although I don't look 18! I get it at Ulta nowadays, since no BE store is near me. The price is reasonable. For better coverage, I use the "Kabuki" brush for application (short brush), that I purchased at a BE store in northern CA.
