Minor Birthday Dilemma - WWYD?

So today is my birthday. DH has a long history of not doing well in the "make me feel special" department. Well today he went all out (for him). One of the gifts he got me was car detailing (which is something I wanted since I can't really wax a minivan).

Anyhow, he got a gift certificate for interior cleaning and what I really want is exterior cleaning. Do you think it would hurt his feelings if I got the exterior done instead? Should I just suck it up? It's just that it isn't cheap so I'd really like the outside done. I'm sure he just wasn't paying much attention to detail.
