It will make it that much more special (does that make sense?) for them to be able to wear their costumes.

I took Billy to see it last Friday and he wore his elephant hat and brought his big stuffed elephant and zebra. There were about 10 other kids in the movie with us and at least half of them had costumes of some sort on :)

I'd let them wear them! They will all look so cute together! My friend's DS used to wear his Spiderman costume everywhere! Interestingly, my girls love to dress up (especially Sarah) but they've never asked to wear them out of the house even though they like to choose their own clothes everyday now.

I say go for it. Just last night I saw a little girl dressed up as a fairy princess shopping in Target with her parents. I thought it was cute. Never entered my mind that the parents were wierd. I thought it was cool that they let her go, not caring what other people "might" think. And we all know you are one cool mama!

i have to say i reread your post and laughed when i pictured them in all those different costumes. how totally fun! my girls love to wear crowns and such about town.

btw our friend's son dressed as spiderman for his birthday party and everyone seemed to take it in stride. lol

No other characters in site but folks did tend to think they looked cute :)
