I have a butterball turkey breast - has anyone thrown it in the crock pot & made it that way? if so what should I put in there?

I know I can over roast - just looking for something different I guess!

TIA!

I've never done a turkey breast, but my mom does a whole chicken on a regular basis. She infuses it with lemon, maple syrup, and butter and then adds onion. I know she doesn't add much if any liquid because the chicken makes a lot of it's own, but you might want to add some chicken broth since breasts are a bit drier.

Hmm, now I'm feeling the need to crock pot something...

I make turkey breast in the crock pot on a regular basis.

My fav way to do it is to add one can of jellied cranberry and an envelope of dry onion soup mix. Two hours on high, then 4-6 hours on low.

You can also do this with a whole turkey if it will fit in your crock.

Deb,

That sounds delicious. Hmmm, just might have to send DH to the store to buy a turkey breast :)

Thanks for the idea,
