How is Reeve doing? I've been waiting for an update!

Not to mention an explanation about what your Dad did to deserve the silent treatment :P

How sweet of both of you to ask about Reeve. He's doing much better, thank you. He had some Pedialyte last night and slept until 5:30 a.m. He managed to keep Pedialyte down all day and is having some formula right now. He's been a happy, pleasant, smiling munchkin all day. Hopefully it was just a quick bug and it's all over. I'm so grateful I had you all to turn to in my nervousness!

As for the folks, still have no idea why Dad's getting the silent treatment. My guess is he said something insensitive, but who knows. I'm giving Mom credit, she didn't tell me so I wouldn't be irked with him on Father's Day. They did drive up to my house separately -- Mom skipped church (GASP!) but Dad wouldn't - he was serving communion or something today. Neither of my sisters were here today so it was a bit odd to have a family holiday without sarcasm. Oh well, we had homemade gnocchis - what more could a girl ask for?? :)

Note to Marisa: Have you seen "Everybody Loves Raymond"? My mom IS Marie!!!!!! Even my students who have met her briefly think so, and they're only 10!

Thanks again for thinking and caring about my little guy -- it means a lot to me! :) Here's my favorite picture of him.

I think we may have a match! My Porky Girl for your Porky Boy!! :)

And we even have the same tub :P

Oh, yes. I've seen Raymond many times. Jonathan's Father and Step Monster are the Jewish version of the parents! Complete with the barbed left-handed compliments. We could seriously trade stories.

I already cook waaaay better than my MIL could ever dream or hope to. I may not have a clue as to how to make Noodle Kugel, but I can sure as hell make one mean pot of red sauce!!

So glad that Reeve is better!

hugs

LOL! I'm so glad DD is not the only babe to read that book upside down! Linda, Reeve is adorable!!!! So huggable and kissable! And I didn't mention it earlier, but I love his name! But I prefer unusual, but not too unusual names, if that makes sense. :) (I'm a teacher on indefinite maternity leave, so I've seen all sorts of names!)

I'm so glad he's doing better now! It's scary when they go through illness--Kaya's been through 2 stomach viruses so I've been there!

Hugs!
