If you've moved your child's bedtime earlier in hopes of later wake-up or fewer night wakings, I'm wondering how long it took for it to work--if it did?

Thanks!

It took about a week (4-6 days?) for it to work. If it takes a month, you should probably forget about it! :) Try for a week to see what happens.

I agree with Caroline. If it takes longer than a week to see ANY results, then try something different. It should at least have SOME effect. However, if you see some positive signs, you can then move it back earlier and see again. I think Weissbluth suggests 4-6 days with a change before trying something else. So if you move it back 15 minutes and you see SOME effect after 4-6 days, move it back another 15 minutes and wait again, and so on.
