I was looking for a floating ring that my DS could sit in with his legs dangling when we go to the pool. Problem is he is around 32lbs and everything I saw had a weight limit in the 20s. He’s not old enough for a regular open ring without the openings to sit in – I can’t see him holding onto it with his arms. I plan on watching him like a hawk, I’m just looking for something that will take some of the weight off my end if I wanted to take him around the pool in water that is too deep for him to stand – he gets heavy really fast! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Here's a nice ones from http://www.poolcenter.com/pooltoys_infant_toddler.htm that can handle infants 9months to 2 years (guaranteed bigger weight limit). It will still need a hand from you so it doesn't capsize with the way babies are always leaning over, but it should fit the bill at $15.

This next one is also nice, it's polystyrene, and suitable to 40lbs, priced at $18. I'm sure these are available elsewhere, but it's a start.

Thanks! Exactly what I'm looking for.
