We haven't had one of these in a while and I was planning to share this picture from Cadie's Christening several weeks back. The last time I remember a thread like this was in the fall and Cadie was just a belly bump! Sorry for the pic quality- it's scanned and not cropped.
So please, post yours!

What a beautiful picture! And Cadie is wearing such a gorgeous gown!

Not the whole family, but here is a picture of Ellie (my little Texan) and me from last weekend! We had our picture taken with a genuine longhorn! The longhorn's name is Sunshine, if you're wondering, LOL! Sunshine's horn is, uh, blocking me a little!

Wow, Ellie really looks a lot like you! She's brave to get that close to a huge animal!
Edited because I can't remember whether I've congratulated you or not!!

This is probably a huge long shot, but I see that you dress up and that you live in Michigan (which is a huge state)....but I have to ask because my brother is huge friends with a lady up there who does the medieval re-enactment stuff like you. Do you know ANYONE who is married with kids named Midge?

Kick me if it's a long shot....but I'll have a last name if you do.

Boy, that is a long shot! Nope, I can't think of anyone I know named Midge in Michigan, but I do have a friend in Kentucky who has been dubbed Midge. It is a joke with another friend who lives in Kansas and was dubbed Barbie. :-)

Yeah, I figured as much (I'm so laughing at myself now)...although stranger things have happened. Thanks for taking the time to reply, though.

BTW, Your family makes such a sweet picture!

Stranger things have happened. When I lived in Kansas, one of the salesmen that I purchased from lived in the Denver area and was good friends with a guy I went to high school with in Montana. WHEW! Did that make sense?

BTW, Thanks!

All of you have such beautiful families!!!

We are really bad about taking family pictures but here's one taken after breakfast out with my ILs who came into town for the weekend (end of May). DH is in desperate need of a haircut but refuses to have one until after our yard project is finished. In this picture it's not too bad but you should see it now - LOL! Oh and it's not the best of me, I always hate my face when I'm pregnant:

He opens his mouth wide and moves side to side when he's extrememly happy :) Daddy was playing with him, and I got bored with the wedding and started blowing bubbles. I then became very popular with the three kids there, including mine :):)

A very nice picture of you all! And Cadie's dress is very pretty looking. :)

Now, you mean we're supposed to have a recent family picture? We had some taken in February, but otherwise it's usually one or the other of us with the camera. I could have sworn I had one of all of us from the retreat that someone else took, but all I can find is the one of my husband and Taran that Rashmi sent me. So, despite the fact that I'm sure he'll be less than thrilled if he hears about me sharing this (he doesn't care much for himself in it), here you go!

Thanks, Trish!

Ellie is brave--the longhorn kept moving his head and I thought we were going to be impaled by the horn! It didn't faze her, but I found it a bit unnerving, LOL!

06-23-2005, 08:12 AM
Thanks, Eri. I was horrified when I realized the picture would feature more than just my face, LOL! Fortunately the longhorn makes me look, er, a bit smaller ;).

Edited: spelling error, yikes!

LOL - watch out! My DH refused to cut his hair about 5 years ago until we moved. Now he has a perpetual ponytail. He does give to Locks of Love every 8 months or so, but I wish I would have put my foot down initially!

Your family is beautiful!

Where did you get Nate's pants and shoes?!?! Charlie MUST have them. Today. I'm feeling the incredible NEED to internet shop....

I love seeing everyone's pictures, I wish I knew how to put pics on here, I have to get my husband to do it & that can take ages !! Look at Sydney's avator, it's probably a year old !!!!!!!!!!!!

He's 6'7". It's funny b/c I used to think my dad was tall (he's 6'2") and now every time I see him, I ask him if he's shrinking b/c he looks so short to me now.

I got the shoes (they're Crocs) at Nordstrom's Woodfield. They had just started carrying them in smaller sizes when I bought them about a month ago. Nate's are size 8/9. Alas, the pants/shorts (they are the longer clamdigger length) I got at H&M's clearance sale from last summer.

Great photos everyone! Here's ours, taken on our ninth wedding anniversary last month. It's not the best photo of ds, but it's nearly impossible to get a good shot of everyone in the same photo.
