I have a backseat organizer that I want to replace and I'd like something I can move around if I need to, but I'm not sure how to keep it safe (hard box would become a projectile in the event of an accident). Is there a car organizer or other organizer that works best? Please share your experience.

If Jack can find a toy rolling around on the floor as he's getting into his carseat, he can play with it. That is our system.

Of course, he may find Jimmy Hoffa under there one day, too.

Lane got this one for his birthday:

It's by Alex. We have only used it for long car rides and it is great! You can attach it with a seatbelt.

On short trips, he usually just has a sippy of water and his stuffed dog, so thankfully, our car has not become a toy chest. :)

LOL! That's pretty much our system, too. But I think I may get that Alex thing that Mary showed for our next big car trip.

I have something similar, made by FP, and it works great!

This is going to sound really tacky... a big Huggies box. The kind that had 100+ diapers in it. It's the perfect size to fit between the two seats in the Sienna.

Mary - Where did you find this? Did you buy online or locally? I'm just wondering if I might find it locally, since we don't find a lot of Alex stuff here, and when we do, it's just a smattering of stuff.
Thanks!

Our friend's sister carries Alex stuff in her store (non-chain). Your best bet is probably online.

If you have a Learning Express store in your area, you may want to call them and ask if they carry it or if they're willing to order one for you.
