I found a recipe for ham in the crockpot that calls for 2 6oz jars of mango chutney. I scoured my local grocery store today and couldn't find any. Where do I look for this? A specialty store? The recipe calls for a 3lb ham, 1/4 tsp pepper, the mango chutney, 1 chopped onion and 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar. Could I substitute something else for the chutney if I can't find it? I've never had chutney before so I'm not sure what would be a good substitute, if any.

Thanks!

Most groceries stores with large ethnic food sections will carry it. I bought mine at Kroger but I have seen it at Publix and Whole Foods.

Isn't it crazy? My BIL couldn't find it at Jewel in our little suburb, but Trader Joe's the next town over has it.

Your local grocery should have it. I think with the other fruit jams and things. I've also seen it in the meat department on a little endcap.

Did you ask for help? I don't usually, preferring to find it on my own ,but for hopeless causes employees are very helpful.
