I don't start work until July 5th!

Just had to share the happy happy news. I didn't think it made a lot of sense to start work on Friday and try to get anything done until they get around to teaching me how to write dialysis orders next Tuesday, but just assumed I'd get along somehow. And my boss calls me today to check on my paperwork and I ask him where to report on Friday and he says I don't start until next Tuesday! Which means I DON'T have to work the holiday weekend, I DON'T have to work for my husband's birthday, and I can go see my parents who are visiting from Europe and go sailing and see my in-laws for yummy Korean food! Yay!

It is always good news when you think you have to work and then you don't have to. Whenever the lights used to flicker at work, I would say a little prayer that the power would go out! Have a great weekend!
