We have a large Spanish-speaking population in the town we work. DH is fluent in Spanish and so we see alot of people who only speak Spanish in our office.

I have been saying for awhile now that I need to learn it in order to better treat the patients. There are many "Spanish for Healthcare Professional" books/cds out there. Do any of you have any familiarity with any of them or any advice.

Thanks :)

No, but I'd like to know too as one of my sisters is in this field and has wondered about this very issue. Thanks for posting :)

I used Barron's "Spanish for Health Care Professionals". I saw just the book at a bookstore but the class I was in had a book with 2 cassette tapes together. The tapes were very helpfull. The book is a great learning tool and "carry around" resource.
