Many of you have messaged me and I am not only touched, but very impressed that you would remember the anniversary of my sister and brother in laws death. God bless all of you kind women. I will share your words with my family in the next few days. Years later the pain is still there, although not as raw. Gavin is such a wonderful boy. I still daydream what life would have been like for him if his parents were alive. So many questions. I guess it best that I don't go there. Thanks again ladies. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and please drive safe this July 4th.

Oh, Sterling, I am shedding tears for you. I just recently found out from one of your posts that Gavin is your sister's son, but I never knew the circumstances. I am so sad for you and your family and know that this is a pain that will never go away. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers this weekend.

It was a quiet, somewhat peaceful weekend. We usually retreat to our lakehouse, but this year we decided to stay put and invited all of our family here to our home. The large number of people helped. You are a wonderful group of ladies and I am proud to be a member of this board.
