I'm cursed by genetics with under eye bags (I'm squinty like Renee Zellweger or that chick in Grey's Anatomy) and my new schedule as just contributed to it.

Anyone have a good under eye cream that reduces bags? I've got some dark circles too, but it's mostly the bags.

Have you ever tried Preparation H cream? It's supposed to truly work to reduce the bags. Really. ;)

Question: Aren't slices of cucumber sappose to help?

I just started using eye cream a few years ago and I really like the Kiehl's one in the black tub and a cream that is made by Jennifer Flavin's (Sylvester Stallone's wife) company, Serious Skin Care. Just a quick trip to the kiehls website shows this one might be better suited for you.

Update Jacks avatar Shannon! I want to see what a little man he looks like. :)

I also have very fair skin and sleep too little, too much coffee, etc.

I use the little black jar from Kiehls, feels like Vaseline (so, when I run out, I do actually sometimes use vaseline)

You know, I was told two different things, and do not know whether this they are true, that under-eye bags'dark circles are 1. genetic (ya, that helps), and 2. are caused by dehydratation.

I forgot the Prep H trick. And the cucumbers (though who has time to lie down with cucumbers on my eyes?!?!?!)

We have a Kiehls at the mall so I'll check it out. And I'll get DH to update Jack's avatar, but in the meantime, here is Jack from Memorial Day!

Ugh -- on dial up from home. Not working. Will try later!

I'm looking into trying this next when I run out of the eye cream that I currently use (Estee Lauder - good for moisture, not much else). It's from Prescriptives and has cucumber extract...

I've got Renee Zellweger eyes too. For the dark circles, Bobbi Brown has a fantastic concealer/powder combination that is worth it's weight in gold. Get one of the counter girls to show you how to put it on, and pick the one who looks most like you. I found a pale-skinned redhead at Nordstrom who really has helped me so much with cosmetic purchases of late.

Eri-

To a certain extent it is genetics, and can also be caused by dehydration. But you can still fight the circles with creams. Just make sure you're drinking enough water and you'll be amazed by how much the circles improve.
