When did you cut your DC's hair for the first time?

I voted for when it was too long but really meant M's option. DS was born with a full head of hair and lost none of it so we cut it around 10 months or so.

We cut Conner's at 8 months old. He also was born with a full head of hair that never fell out and it turned to big curls. After we cut it though, it's been a lot straighter and it has gotten lighter as well.

I didn't vote because I haven't cut DD's hair and quite honestly I don't think I'll be cutting it anytime soon. She has really curly hair, so when it is wet it is a few inches past her shoulders but when it is dry it is a few inches above. Her hair doesn't seem interested in forming bangs either. I don't mind because she has wonderful ringlets.

Colwyn has always had tons of hair. We cut it for the first time at 8 months, and have to cut it every other month or so. We usually wait until it's in his eyes because he makes such a scene while getting his haircut.. although he did pretty good this last time.

Aidan was a couple months past two when he had his first haircut. He had such beautiful curls, I just couldn't bear to cut it. However, once I did this to him, Steve insisted it was time for a cut...

DH says we need to trim his bangs. I say over my dead body. I cannot bring myself to cut his curls..he has surfer boy look in the front, and serious curls going in the back...He's so pretty...It's never getting cut ;)

I had to trim DD's bangs the other day. That's as much as I was brave enough to do! It was all in her eyes, so I couldn't wait any longer. :P

Ds got his 1st hair cut at about 2 weeks of age. We trimmed the straight parts - around his ears and in the back. The top had a little wave, so we left that alone until much later. I don't remember how long we waited for a complete hair cut, probably about 4 months? His hair grows so fast!

If he would have had more curl, I would have waited. I love the surfer-look too!
