Wow. That's HUGE! I love Europe. :) I read a list a while back about all the products containing phthalates and was shocked about how commonly used they are. There is specific concern regarding exposure to phthalates during pregnancy and the effect on the development of the reproductive system and penis size in boys.

I've already cut out a few things, just to be on the safe side, but I had no idea it was so prevalent in toys! Geez. Back to plain old sticks and blocks I guess!

Thanks Eri. So sad that Europe is so far ahead of us on this one. In the US they don't even tell us what products contain Phthalates in the ingredients. But the government is keeping us safe, right? LOL ;)
