I know this should probably go over in the Bedding/Nursery forum but seems like there is more traffic over here and what I'm looking for isn't for babies but toddlers/children.

My FIL has told me to choose furniture/bedding/accessories, basically everything to decorate what will be our girls room at his expensive, money no option (extremely generous & much appreciated).

Right now Dillan is upstairs in a tiny room below our loft bedroom and we plan on keeping her and her new sister together in that room until after the 1st of the year OR when Dillan transitions from crib to twin bed.

The room they will be going to is about 10x14 (with a built in closet that has been completely organized with shelves, hanging areas & built in dresser).

I'm planning on getting bunkbeds and realize that at this point, Dillan will not be ready to sleep on the top bunk for sometime. We also plan on putting the crib downstairs.

I've been looking online and finally had an opportunity to go to a couple stores specializing in children's furniture. I have found 2 different brands of furniture and was wondering if anyone is familiar with either line; Young America by Stanley and Vermont Tubbs. The woman at the store said the Vermont Tubbs line is excellent quality furniture and is about $600 more than the Young America line. However, I prefer the look of the Young America line when the beds are separated into twins as eventually they will have their own rooms but not for about 10 years.

Also, I plan on getting a couple of storage type pieces and I'm going back and forth on the following:

This is from the Company Store but I'm concerned about quality:

Then we have this storage bench from Pottery Barn - would love to get the towers but because the way the 2 windows in their room meet,
it's not possible, so just the bench:

Or instead of the storage bin from The Company Store, I might do 2 white cubbies from Pottery Barn which have 4 spaces each for a total of 8 spaces.

Anyone have any suggetions or advice on any of the above? I'm driving my DH crazy and my FIL wants to get this stuff ordered!

The bed and bedroom set we ordered for DS is Stanley Young America, and we did see it IRL. It was very nice. It is oak. Some Stanley stuff is not, and I can't speak to the quality of their other collections. Also, since we've just ordered 2 wks ago, we have not yet received it or lived with it, so I can't really speak to that either.
