Anyone know what it is? The recipe I am about to make calls for it and I don't have it. Can I substitute?

I'm not sure if you can substitute. It's an Asian sauce you can buy at the grocery store.

It's also called Peking sauce I think.

Here is a recipe I googled:

4 tb Soy sauce,(dark/light/usual)
2 tb Peanut butter/black bean pas
1 tb Honey/molasses
2 ts White vinegar
1/8 ts Garlic powder
2 ts Sesame seed oil
20 dr Chinese-style hot sauce
1/8 ts Pepper

It's a plum sauce. You can get it at any grocery store by the Asian stuff. It's kind of like a very sweet BBQ sauce.

Even Sophie LOVES it!
