OT: Question for Mac computer users with Nikon Coolpix cameras

I just tried the movie feature on my Nikon Coolpix 4300 digital camera and am wondering how I go about downloading to my Mac. Normally I just import all the digital photos into iPhoto. I assume the movie sections need to go into iMovie, but will the computer automatically put photos in iPhoto and movies in iMovie, or how do i do it? The same memory card has both movies and stills.

You can download into any folder and the movies will read as movie and photos read as photos.

Mac will not automacially place them into specific folder.
To put files in a specific folder
I suggest you download on desktop then select photo images and drag photo files into photo folder and the same for movie files.
However for my files, I create weekly folders then archive when necessary.
