stretch marks?

Hi ladies,
I didn't get any stretch marks with DS #1, but I have a few with this second baby. How can I get rid of them? They are starting to fade a little, but is there anything I can to speed it up?

Stretch marks are a "forever" type thing. They will fade over time and become a silvery white. Just think of them as battle scars! There are some creams that are sold but I have never had any luck with them!

yes they are pretty much a forever thing. After Jake was born, I was showing my mom my stretch marks and she lifted her shirt and said "here is what they look like after 28 years" and then my grandmother lifted her shirt and said "and here is after 48 years".

We all had the same exact pattern of stretch marks. The tendency to get stretchmarks seems to be hereditary.
