DD scraped her knee. Any treatments to take the "string" out?

We were at Nana's today and DD fell in the driveway and scraped her knee. It bled somewhat and she's been really clingy since it happened and says her knee hurts, poor thing. Are there any good remedies to take the "sting" out?

When Abby has scraped her knees, I've just used something like Neosporin with painkiller in it. Covered with a bandaid, the worst of the stingy feeling is over the first day.

Bactine makes a no-sting spray with a painkiller in it. That and a Sesame Street Band Aid usually makes anything better. :)
