at least where teething is concerned. He is 14.5 months and now has 16 teeth through the gums. LOL

Five are just through and 11 are pretty much completely in. All we need now are the 2 year molars and I'm hoping he'll wait until at least 18 months for those!

Edited for a typo.

Lol. We have the opposite problem. Abigail has swollen gums for MONTHS before a tooth breaks through. She's three and still doesn't have her two year molars. One of them broke through rather dramatically in one place in early June, but then nothing else happened and her gum-- I swear I am not making this up-- has grown back over the tooth. :(

Kaya has 12 completely in and a 13th and/or 14th coming in. I always knew Andrew was an overachiever, though, ever since he started walking early. :)

That's funny. I just can't wait to be done teething for a while. He isn't too bothered by them, but it can't be pleasant to be working on 5 at once!

I wonder if Abigail will be late to lose her baby teeth, too.

:).

Weird thing, he got the upper right molar, upper right canine, lower right molar, lower right canine and then did all the left teeth. Weird order.

Kaya is nearly done for a bit, too. Won't that be nice!

Ok I am kind of jealous, but I guess not really. We have a wopping 2 teeth and DD is 13.5 months old. I am thinking she is going to end up getting a bunch in at once, whenever that happens. The only two teeth she has broke through about 24 hours apart.

My DS was just like yours...had all 16 teeth by 14 months. I thought for sure he'd be getting his 2 year molars super early but here we are at 21 months and no sign of them. He's gone through some cranky periods when going to bed at night over the past few months and I keep looking for them to start popping through - I want them in and over with! I tell you though once all his molars/incisors were in it was heaven to have that long break and not have to worry about whether or not his teeth were hurting!

Fortunately, teething hasn't been too terribly stressful for her so far, even with the molars. She did tend to get a bad rash, drool, and I'm wondering if her runny nose/congestion is related. But for the most part, it doesn't seem to disrupt her sleep, which cuts down a little on the whininess/crankiness. It will be nice when I'm sure her teeth aren't bothering her for a while, though. Oh, and her molars came out before her canines, too. I think she's working on her upper canines right now, actually.

At 15 mos DS just had is 1st set of molars come in, which isn't interesting in and of itself. It's the fact that the only other teeth he has are his four front teeth!

Wow! So, he has 8 teeth, but not the normal 8? He must look so cute with that! I loved the look of just the front 4 teeth.

We're right there with you. Susanna still has only her 2 bottom teeth. They broke through exactly 1 week apart. It was nice of her to do it on Saturdays, though, so we could be there. :-) She's working pretty hard on her top 2 and we've been able to SEE the white in her gum for a couple of weeks. Luckily, she's figured out how to eat pretty much everything but red meat.

I've got you all beat! Madeline is 14 months old and doesn't have ANY teeth! She is suffering pretty badly now though, there are at least four trying to come in. Poor baby..
