We just got a new PC laptop (switching from a Mac) and I was wondering about the Paint Shop/JASC program. If I download my pics from my digital camera onto the computer, can I just burn onto a disk and get them developed at Costco? On my Mac, I had to go through Photoshop and turn into jpegs, otherwise Costco couldn't read the disk. Do I have to do something like that again?
Hope that makes sense...I know a little about computers, but want my pics so bad! Thanks!!!!

You should be fine - most digital cameras save your pics in .jpg format by default - so you should be fine just burning them to CD and take them to whoever for developing - no more changing file formats for you. :)

Or - alternatively - get a good Canon photo printer for about $150 and print your own photos - my Canon prints are better than any of the developing services we've used (Walmart, Costco, Ritz etc.) I do think the cost is slightly higher per picture than a service but I like the results better personally.

Thanks, Bill, I appreciate your help! :-)
I think I may ask for a good printer for Christmas!
