* Thanks for the reassurance. She calmed down and is content just sitting on my lap and looking around. I HOPE it's not viral, tomorrow's her Christening!! *

DD just threw up. All over herself and dh and the floor. I didn't know her little belly could hold so much milk.
She has no fever.
She just ate a good amount not too long ago but since she obviously threw it all up she's now wanting to eat again.
Should I feed her? Should I pump first and then feed her?
She's 8 weeks old and ebf.
Sorry if these are stupid questions but she never threw up before and I'm a little clueless as to how to handle it (besides mopping it up.)
Thanks!

If she's wanting to eat again, I'd go ahead and nurse her, but maybe not for as long--in other words, let her have a little bit at a time and see how her tummy tolerates it. But her being hungry is a good sign. She may have just eaten too much and since her sphincter is not completely developed, vomitting is a natural reaction to eating too much. But just keep an eye on her and see how she does with little bits at a time. If it's not a virus then she should be just fine and if it is, the little bits will still be fine and will help prevent her from being dehydrated.

I hope she feels better soon!

I'm no MD. But I'd say not to worry if she doesn't show any other signs of being sick. And if she's hungry, feed her. She may have had a big gas bubble or who knows what. Their digestive system isn't very big, and it's very blurpy (see, told ya I'm no MD).

DD did this once or twice, and it was truly amazing how much material there was. She did this all over her babysitter, poor thing!

Yup. Sounds like she just ate too much. Feed her again, but maybe only do one side.
