Do any of you all have good experience with flowers off the internet? I'd like to send some, but I'm a little nervous about where I should get them from. Thanks!

For nicer stuff, I love Calyx & Corolla. Their things are BEAUTIFUL!

My dh used www.beyondblossoms.com for my anniversary bouquet I received on Saturday. They were shipped overnight (when it's cooler) and arrived fresh and well packed. I would use them again without hesitation.

My family uses proflowers a lot with good results.

ETA: if you can look up some florist shops in the destination area, you can call them up directly and place an order.

I second the rec for Calyx. I received some flowers from my boss from Calyx on my birthday, and they were really some of the nicest I have ever received. The vase is beautiful too!

I've used Proflowers for over four years and IMHO they offer the best value for your money. Flowers are shipped directly from the grower so they arrive fresh and last longer. And if you create reminders for important dates they'll e-mail you a code for free vase before the date.

ETA: Just got my ProFlowers catalog today and August special is 2 dozen roses for $29.99 plus S&H. You'll get a free clear vase by going to www.ProFlowers.com/catalog3 or calling (800) 598-3506. HTH!

I actually didn't have the best experience with C&C... my MIL gave us a year of flowers delivered (their "flower of the month" club, so to speak), and it was really disappointing. It was a gift when we moved into our new house, and I was so excited, but the quality just wasn't there.

I have had the best luck with Martha Stewart flowers (if you're not embarassed to send something by her company I don't know... lol). They have always arrived fresh and pretty looking.

HTH, Good luck. This is an interesting thread as I never know who to go through either.
