just curious - how much is gas in your area?

In San Francisco, unleaded regular gas hit a high of $3.15. In my area, about 40 minutes south of San Francisco, near San Jose, most gas places are running about $2.75. This morning I paid $2.61 for gas at Cosco.

in MD gas is around $2.75. VA is cheaper (lucky Virginians!). I have paid anywhere from $2.67 - $2.80 in the past week.

Last I looked (Tues) I paid $2.39. That is in KS. Too high, but not as much as some of you are paying.

Here in suburban Chicago it is $2.50 for regular.

Have you been out today, Deb? 2.69/2.79/2.89, up and down Wolf Rd. Though maybe it is cheaper by you, away from the Cook Cty gas taxes.

It's nauseating isn't it?! I paid $2.39 at Costco the other day but I heard on the news this morning the average price in the Phoenix area is $2.46/gallon.

$2.45 in the Northern Virginia area this morning. Although my closest gas stations are usually 10 cents lower than the area average.

$2.49 seems CHEAP though for premium around here lately. And i paid $2.34 at the same station exactly a week ago. Crazy.

I just saw a sign for regular at $2.60 a gallon...I'm just 40 minutes north of Philly. In the beginning of June a gas station near where I live was selling gas for $2.09 a gallon!!!!

I think I paid 2.67 this morning for regular unleaded. I'm in Honolulu.

Paid $2.73 this morning for regular in San Diego. The premium was $2.99 at the same station.

Here in Canada we pay by the litre - right now it's $1.10 per, so $4.40 a gallon Cdn, which is roughly $3.50 a gallon US.

It makes me sick...on our recent road trip/vacation, when it was cheaper by $.15 a litre, we spent 1/3 of our travel budget on gas.
