Thank you Melanie...when I get the boys down I will check her updates. My friend lost her daughter last Friday to leukemia and it just saddens me so much to know there is such an illness that effects so many.

I have thought about little Samuel so much this past week...
Just this morning I thought of canceling a playdate because the thought of getting everyone ready and then I thought of Jen and Sam and how much they have to do just to get to the hospital etc... and I followed thru totally due to the thought of them!!!

Thanks for posting. I've been checking his updates daily and I'm just hurting for him and his family! I've been praying for them daily and hope that this surgery will NOT turn into seven!

Interesting thing is that Kaya asks to see pictures and video of the "boy" every day. She loves watching the videos of him in the water. Even if my computer is closed, she'll go over there and sign and say, "boy?" over and over until I open it up for her to see.

I was thinking about him last night - I'm glad his surgery went well. I hope he's up and running around very soon. Poor kiddo has been through way too much.

ya know it might be small...and actually be small...but imagine the reseverse scenrio and wouldn't it be cool to hear from someone :)
I only say that for a friend of mine has lived with her daughter at the hopsital for the past four months with leukemia (sadly she lost the fight this past week), but she shared in her journal a few times how much little notes meant to her in the hours of waiting...
