My cousin is buying her son a gameboy for his birthday. I would like to buy him a game for it. I went to Amazon and was overwhelmed. Any suggestions as to what boys usually start out with?. He is 6.

Most of the "Mario" franchise of games are good - I'm no expert but I'd think a 6 year old would like the Pokemon games also. My son's only 6mo but I'm a video game geek at heart. ;o

The Mario games are great for that age. Wario, Kirby, Yoshi and Crash Bandicoot are some other ideas. Is she getting him a Gameboy Advance SP or Gameboy DS? The DS games can only be played on the DS and the advance games can be played on both. HTH
