Just wondering if this is normal- my 9 month old DS sweats a lot from the back of his head- whever he's playing hard. My DH is really sweaty, so I'm hoping it's just something he inherited, but it seems a bit weird to have such a sweaty baby!

My nephew is totally like that. He plays hard for a few minutes and his head is soaked. My mom and her brother are sweaty also, so I'm assuming it's somehow genetic.

Yes! DS is a total sweatball. His head gets very damp. He's been this way since he was a baby.

Yes. DD is only two months and already sweats like her daddy. Must be genetic.

Heck, yes, Payton sweats like crazy when he's playing hard or when he's sleeping-- has for a long time. DH sweats a lot, and I'll admit I'm not one who just glows :) Probably something he inherited from us!

My dd is a sweaty kid too. There are days when I look at her and crack up. Between sunscreen, bug spray, leftover lunch in her hair and sweat....she's quite the looker! :D

Another sweating babe here! I tend to ah, "glisten" ;) easily so I think DS inherited from me.

My oldest DS would actually have sweat beads on his head when he BF and when I finished my arm was all wet where I supported his head. He could never wear the fleece pjs because he was always hot. As soon as he was able to unzip on his own he was sleeping in his diaper or undies.

Toby sleeps in his diaper with basically no blanket and wakes up soaking wet on his head and back. He also sweats a lot at other times. He has ALWAYS been like this. So I think it is normal for some babies to sweat a lot.

Oh yeah, total sweaty babes here, too. Both of my boys are big time sweaters. I'd like to say they inherited it from their dad, but sadly, it is much more like me! :P

Proud mommy of another sweater, particularly the head. One of the reasons I try to keep his hair as short as possible- let it get some air!

I posted about C's sweat problem a few weeks ago. He sweats PROFUSELY from his head while sleeping - totally drenches a pillow. It is really gross :(

Yes :) I can almost see steam coming out of DS's head, even when it's not really warm.

My dd is very sweaty too. She soaks her whole backside when she is in her carseat. I keep her window rolled down so she can get a breeze but she just sweats in that thing. She loves the AC and fan to cool her off.

DD is totally sweaty, especially a sweaty sleeper. So is her dad. And I'm the one who sleeps in socks, no matter what. I just try to keep her hair short, and keep her comfortable. She is most sweaty when she's sleepy - so it's actually a good clue for naptime or bedtime for us.
