Toddler costume without a hat

My 19 month old ds won't wear hats. All of the cute Halloween costumes have hoods or hats. What's a good and cute costume for a 21 month old that doesn't require a hood or hat? TIA.

Will he wear anything on his head? Like a hair comb or something to which you can attach antennae or ears or anything along those lines?

Otherwise, you could face paint his face green and put him in a jack 'o lantern costume. :)

You could paint his face white and put a sheet over his head to make a ghost...

Superman? Get him some of those jammies and put a red cape on him. He wouldn't have to have anything on his head with this one.

Hmm...that's all I can think of for now and it's time for dinner, but I'll add more if I think of more. :)

He won't wear a single thing on his head, I'm quite sure. It has been a challenge this summer to keep the sun off of his uncovered head.

i have been pondering the same question! my 12 month old will not tolerate anything on her head... doesn't get mad just removes it with a big ole smile ... this IS a fun game! good luck on your search! i'll probably sew up a fairy costume unless i come up with something else! but that's not exactly helpful with your ds... i will keep my thinking cap on!
