Around Tuesday Payton picked up a stuttering habit. He has double tapped words before (mo-more milk pwease) which I found normal, since I do it occasionally, too. Tuesday he said "mo-mo-mo-mo-mo-mo milk pwease" and that really took me off guard.
I'm wondering if it's a reaction to DH being out of town (he left Saturday). Our sitter hadn't noticed it 'til I mentioned it. It's not all the time, and it's kind of random which sentences/phrases it happens in. I'm hoping it resolves when DH gets back next week.
Thoughts? How long do I let it go without resolving before I go get a professional to evaluate it?
