If you watch, I'm sure you've seen the season finale, but just in case...

Lame, I know, but this is my guilty pleasure. I hadn't been watching regularly, though, but I did see the season finale. ... Is Rex really dead? Or is he faking it because he thinks Bree tried to kill him? Or is he really dead and she'll be charged with his murder?

And do we know anything about the new family, other than that they didn't want Nicollete Sheridan in their house for some reason?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure he's really dead. Someone was asked that question on Extra, or ET or one of those shows, and they said that yes, he's really dead.

If it's lame, then I'm right there with you - I LOVE that show!! :)

I just wanted to add that I used to be friends with the new character, Mechad Brooks, who plays Alfre Woodward's son. We went to college together at USC and he was my next door neighboor freshman year (6 years ago). He was in USC's film school then, but eventually dropped out to persue acting since he was doing so well. He and his roommate were over at my apartment every day and he and my one of my roommates had a brief relationship (there were four girls in my apartment). We all spent many late nights hanging out together, and yes, I've even seen him in his underwear! Me and my friends can't wait to see the show Sunday-- we're so happy for him. He's from Austin Texas, so I hope all of his friends and family throughout Texas will be ok after the Hurricane.

Apparently, he's been cast on West Wing, so you can still see him on Sunday nights!
