View Full Version : Jera/Natalie UPDATE #5

Going to make this brief as I do not have a lot of info but did not want to leave you hanging.

Yesterday (Tuesday), Natalie had a rough time with her breathing. She would drastically de-sat and then slowly work her way back up again. This happened several times. The doctors thought this was due to the steroid affects tapering off. Then, this AM, J called me frantically, telling me that she was heading to the hospital due to DH's urging. Natalie had a rough night ~ very poor blood gases and de-sats. Jera thought that they would have to talk about palliative care. That was the last that I heard until this evening. Unfortunately, I couldn't talk when she called and I missed her later when I tried back. She told me that she was home and that Natalie is back on the upswing. Hopefully I'll get more info tomorrow, once my phone problem is fixed :(

Thank you for all of the interest (via post, IM, and email) in donating for a personal chef. I have several emails out there and now I am just waiting for responses. If I do not hear from anyone tomorrow I'll start calling.

PLEASE continue to keep little Natalie Amelia, Jera, and their family in your prayers.

Wow. I wish I knew what to say to offer some comfort, but I imagine there really isn't any at a time like this. Please just know that we're thinking of and praying for this family.
