Oh Paige,
I feel for you! I remember my due dates being the worst days of my life...I think I had this expectation that I would go "early" like the rest of my friends did!
Now that I have not had a child-free day in over 4 years I will tell you, that I would DIE to have a night out to dinner or a movie with my husband without it being some sort of huge ordeal! So enjoy yourselfs, go out and eat at a special restaurant, somewhere that you will remember and maybe visit on this date every year...
Your little baby will be here before you know it!

Good luck to you! Happy Due Date!

Jazz was born on her due date so I didn't have much time to just sit -- and like the others, I would LOVE to veg nowadays!

The Burmese restaurant near me swears that their spicy samosa soup has sent record numbers of women into labor. You can try something like that if you get really desperate.

ETA: Another sure labor inducer:
I left work a few days before my due date, sure that I had at least a week or two. I told myself, "I'm going to finally put together my wedding photos." An hour later, after getting the huge box off the top shelf in our closet, my contractions started. :)

Congrats Paige! Very soon you will have your sweet baby in your arms AND you'll be able to see your feet again! Hang in there and do something extremely pampering and selfish b/c it may be awhile before you are able to do that again :)

It'll be soon!

Do something fun and take joy in the look on people's faces when they ask you the due date and you say "today!". I was still at work on my due date and it was fun messing with people :).

I remember Tori's due date. It was our anniversary, and I can't remember where we went to eat, maybe Chili's. I also remember a friend whose due date was after mine having her son. I have never walked so much in that week following her due date. But the night before my induction we went to IHOP. I had stuffed french toast and was in labor 5 hours later.

Baby will be here when baby's ready. ITA with the PP about doing something special for yourself today. How about a pedicure or some new jewelry? Or even just some relaxing snuggle time with your honey watching a video.

((((HUGS)))) mama. I totally understand just being ready to have that baby!!

ITA with PPs about doing something special so you remember this day. Even something simple, but just enjoy the last bit of "alone" time and time with hubby!

It will happen oh so soon....
