Okay, I'm probably crazy to ask someone I don't know to do me such a big favor, and if someone is willing to do it, when my husband finds out he's going to have a cow. I was wondering if someone who lives near an Ikea would be willing to buy me a dresser I want and ship it to me if I send them the money?

The Ikea closest to me doesn't have it in stoc, and it's a store-only item, they won't ship it. They also told me it's a discontinued item, so they won't be getting anymore in.

If anyone is willing to do this for me, please e-mail me. And I understand if nobody wants to.

I wish I had one near me :-( If I did I would do it in a heartbeat.

Oh mama, I hope you find someone to get it for you. I totally know that feeling of wanting something, and not being able to get it.

Our IKEA doesn't open until Nov 9th, or I'd totally do it for you!

There is one near me and I am willing to call them to see if they have the item and I am willing to do the legwork to get it to you if they have it. Let me know if you still need help and what you are looking for.

The other option might be to call your IKEA store and ask them to call around to see if there's another location that has it in stock. Maybe they'd be willing to ship it from store to store and hold it so that you can pick it up. Some retailers are happy to do this for their customers.

HTH!
