Were subsequent babies born at the same time as 1st?

DS was born at 38 weeks. I had to have an emergency c-section. This one will be a repeat, and they only schedule at 39 weeks or more. I wonder will I make it to 39 weeks based on DS being born early? (DS came out at over 7lbs at 38 weeks, so if DS#2 comes early I'm not too worried.)

Anyway, I'm wondering how things worked out for those who've had 2 or more. Maybe if I see the results I'll get a better idea of what to expect.

Abigail was born at 38 weeks exactly. I'm 39 weeks tomorrow with this one, and despite contrractions since July, he's still in there.

I was wondering the same thing. DD was born at 41 weeks, i was hoping that when we have #2 he or she would come a little early!

Nick was born at 38 weeks exactly. Alex was born 40w, 3 days.

Mommy brain... I totally forgot that I was induced with DS2, LOL! Sorry, I voted wrong. DS1 was 1 day early and DS2 was 2 weeks late (and induced).

I was in my 40th week with all 3. 2 were induced. Logan 7lb14oz I went in to labor on his due date he was born 3 days later Connor my date was different than the sono so they didnt want to go past the second date 8lb 12oz and Nathan day after my due date they were afraid of how big he was u/s can be off and they were by a whole lb! He was only 9lb7oz.

first one: 38 weeks 6 days. 9lbs 9.5oz.

second one: 41 weeks 3 days. 9lbs 10.7oz.

(well, the OB said dylan was 40 weeks, 3 days, but they were wrong...)

and i had prelabor with schuyler for 5ish days. i had prelabor with dylan for FIVE LONG WEEKS. i told EVERYONE he was coming early. i went and on about how early he was going to be. i felt like a real jack-a$$ when he showed up fashionably late. (i was one day away from the appt where i had to schedule an induction.)

DS1 was born at 43 weeks and DS2 was born at 41w 5d.

So they were both post-date, but each definitely had a different idea of when to arrive.

38 weeks isn't early. Any time between 37 and 40 weeks is considered "full term," due to variations in timing or measuring conception.

My first was born at 35 weeks (OB's calc). My second was born at 39 weeks (my calc, or 38 weeks and some-odd days based on my OB's calc) . ETA: My first was induced. W/ my second, I went into labor 3 days before my scheduled induction date.

Haven't had #2 yet but they will definitely be born at different times. Charlie was born at 36.5 wks, and I'm still pregnant w/#2 at 39 wks 2 days. :)

DS1 was born at 35wks 5 days and DS2 was born at 36wks 2 days. With both I started dilating early at 31 wks exactly. Both came out halthy at over 6 lbs. Which i pretty big since hubby and I are pretty small, pre-preg I was 92lbs!
