He (my bf that is) got a 171 which is in the top 98th percentile! I'm so proud of him and he was so estatic when he found out. He was originally told that the scores would be released on Monday, but for whatever reason they started sending them out today. He actually emailed me this morning (before he knew about the scores coming out) and said he had a dream that he got a 172, so the dream was pretty accurate. He said he woke up and his heart was racing and he was about to explode from all the anxiety. So I'm glad they came in early so he wouldn't have to spend the whole weekend having panic attacks.

He's in the process of starting his personal statements and essays for all the law applications so wish him luck.

And thanks so much to everyone who replied to my other thread. It was definately relieving to learn a little more about what to expect, especially from people who have actually been there. I tried to tell my boyfriend what you all said and the advice you gave, but he insisted on reading all the posts himself and he was really interested in everything you said. Thank you so much, and we will definately be having more conversations about our future and our goals. I really do have a good feeling about everything now. I think things will work out.

ETA: My boyfriend just corrected me and said his score was in the top 98th percentile NOT 90th which I had posted earlier...Wow, that is great!

That should be good enough for UCLA- that was his first pick, right?

Thanks so much everyone! Yes, we are all so proud of him. And we're praying that he gets into UCLA. His LSAT score is above UCLA's average, but his GPA is a little below the average, so he really needs to make himself stand out even more with his personal statement and essay. If he doesn't get into UCLA, then he'll most likely stay right where he is-- at USC, which is an equally good school but I think it would be nice to move away from there since we were both there for undergrad.
