Here's our "friendly ghost..."

What an easy costume - buy a few yards of tulle, cut into equal lengths just less than twice DC's height, fold in half & slice a head hole out. instant costume! (I used about 7 yards of standard-width tulle.)

Happy Halloween from Wonder Woman and her sidekick/mama!

WOW! We had an absolutely gorgeous autumn day in New York. My hometown had a 5-minute, 2-block "parade." The merchants had candy, but we spent most of the afternoon in the park.

Jazzy's "totally ghetto" (according to my sister) homemade costume and an example of my knitting:

We had so much fun-despite leaving the stroller behind so Anna did not get the full effects of her costume-pink tulle all over the place-we had to carry her-she didn't care-she smiled the entire time and had a ball. Jack loved being Mr. Lollipop Guild from the Wizard of Oz. So fun.

I don't think I've ever been so tired in my life...
Reichen was off from school due to a teachers work day and we took advantage of it and headed for our zoo (1 1/2 hours away). And had to rush rush home for our first Halloween!!!! The boys were so excited!!!!

The boys were in costume at the zoo but as the day progressed we had some stripping action that left mommy to carry the costumes (joy joy)... so excuse T's PJs (but atleast I finally got him out of his Superman PJs which he refused to take off for weeks!!!).

What wonderful pictures and great ideas!!!!

Over here we had the "return of the LOBSTER"! as Henry donned Karenna's old costume from 2years ago (I've included an old pic of her wearing it) and Karenna went as Cinderella, her favorite of the Disney princesses.

No time for me to make costumes this year, as I had planned. (I had hoped to dress us all as bugs -- butterfly, ladybug, caterpillar -- with DH dressing up as a bug collector w/ butterfly net and pith helmet!) :( Oh well, maybe next year!

Ohmygoodness! The pictures are all so adorable. Let's see if I can figure out how to add my fireman.

If this worked, there is one of Sawyer sitting on his Babci's lap and then one with a bunch of his cousins. I love the mad scientist!

This costume was a cinch to make, and one yard of fabric made two costumes (he and a friend were both cavemen). Of course, novice and impatient sewer that I am, I had to re-sew it 3 times: the first it was so tight I could hardly get it over his shoulder, the second it was so loose it kept falling off, and the third was almost just right.
