Ryan: I bought some crocuses today at Lowe's to plant tomorrow in remembrance of Emma, Leah, Daniele's daughter Kiely, and my cousin's stillborn son Andrew. They will bloom in the spring, hopefully around Leah and Kiely's birthdays (just 8 days apart), and I look forward to seeing that year after year. Your stories and your children have touched my heart.

So glad to see this thread is already going as I logged on tonight to start one myself.

Ryan, it's been a year, but the emotions are still so raw for me and I know they are for you too. I continue to feel anger, frustration, and so much sadness. Sweet Emma will never be forgotten. I've been thinking about you a lot this week too. I know that this day will be very difficult for you, but I hope that it is also filled with some peace for you. Passing the first anniversary felt like a milestone for me. It felt that the weight on my heart was just a little lighter when it had passed. I hope it is that way for you as well. I was also pregnant on the first anniversary of my daughter's death and struggled so much with the emotions that came with my pregnancy. You and your family are in my prayers.
